We are making a difference: The Procurement and Logistics department is responsible for the needs-based supply of all required goods and services, as well as the procurement of construction services. We also independently maintain stocks of particularly important plant components in two central warehouse units. We see ourselves as a service provider, strategic advisor, and reliable partner within the HAMBURG WASSER Group.
What you will do with us:
- Obtaining and comparing quotes, preparing price comparison tables, and commissioning suppliers and service providers as part of individual procurement activities
- Supporting the analysis and evaluation of procurement and ordering processes based on the inventory management system
- Conducting market and supplier research to identify suitable procurement sources
- Establishing, maintaining, and continuously developing a central knowledge database
- Actively participating in and supporting cross-functional projects, as well as optimizing internal processes
What you bring:
- Enrolled in a degree program in economics or business (e.g. business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or a similar field)
- Basic understanding of commercial and business administration principles
- Affinity for numbers and an analytical way of thinking
- Independent and structured approach to work, combined with high self-motivation and a strong willingness to learn
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Good communication skills in various conversational situations
