Position
TUI Cruises GmbH is looking for the following person to join its Berlin location as soon as possible, for a fixed term of 6 months:
Intern (all genders) Circus Arts
We are looking for a committed and motivated intern to actively support our Circus Arts team. In this role, you will gain valuable insight into organisational and administrative processes in the circus arts area and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in a creative and dynamic environment.
Inventory and warehouse management
- Conducting the monthly inventory in the circus arts warehouse and maintaining the virtual inventory list
- Monitoring and coordinating stock in the circus arts warehouse and dance studio
- Cleaning and maintaining circus arts materials, such as fabrics and aerial hoops
- Handling the shipment of circus arts props to and from ships
- Coordinating orders, including via MeisterTask, and optimising product selection
Administrative support
- Assisting with the preparation of rehearsal and annual schedules, including the development of planning drafts
- Independently ordering office supplies and managing the related resources
- Supporting documentation and minute-taking at meetings
Operational support and coordination
- Positioning, arranging, and organising props for rehearsals and events
- Checking data synchronisation for audio technology
- Coordinating between departments and supporting managers and acrobats with operational tasks
- Procuring materials and supporting logistics processes
Requirements
- Student in entertainment, circus arts, dance, musical theatre, theatre, or stage technology
- Initial practical experience, for example through internships or vocational training in variety shows, circuses, theatre companies, and/or the entertainment and cruise sectors is desirable; expertise in circus arts or dance is desirable
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Confident use of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Quick and structured working, enjoyment of varied activities, and the ability to work independently
- Teamwork and very good communication skills
- Ability to handle stress, creativity, and a confident manner
