Your role
As a working student, you support the team responsible for the electrical power supply of waterworks. The plant-construction area covers the planning, modernisation and implementation of technical infrastructure, with a focus on EMSR technology: electrical, measurement, control and regulation technology. In practice, this supports automated processes, safe control and efficient monitoring. The work ranges from analysis and technical design to implementation and project support across all service phases, giving you practical insight into demanding infrastructure projects.
Your tasks
- Support the implementation of technical projects in automation and EMSR technology and in the electrical power supply of waterworks.
- Help prepare bills of quantities and technical performance descriptions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including 1-pole representations, principle diagrams and block diagrams.
- Carry out network calculations and simulations with NEPLAN 10, such as static and time-dependent load-flow calculations, short-circuit current calculations, selectivity checks and protection design.
What you bring
- Enrolment in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme.
- A completed vocational qualification, ideally in a technical field, is an advantage.
- Interest in EMSR technology and electrical power supply.
- A structured, careful and reliable way of working.
- Good spoken and written German.
