The Navigation team is responsible for the content structure of navigation entry points and the further development of navigation features. Current work focuses on personalized, relevance-driven entry points and new interaction concepts. The team also identifies and implements automation opportunities to respond more quickly to user needs and launch innovations.
You can work remotely for up to 50% of your monthly working time. Teams and their managers jointly decide how on-site and mobile work are balanced. The city and province are not provided.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development and optimization of navigation structures for different product ranges on otto.de, and derive concrete user-experience improvements from A/B tests.
- Manage and coordinate changes to the navigation structure and help process requests from internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and resolve errors in navigation structures and help ensure smooth operations.
- Create, analyze and interpret performance reports using tools such as Excel or Adobe Analytics.
- Conduct regular competitor and market analyses and derive relevant insights.
- Support the development of data-based recommendations for advancing products and user experiences.
- Process requests and error reports from specialist departments, coordinate their clarification and follow up on implementation.
Required
- Enrollment in business administration, e-commerce, digital business, media or business informatics, or a comparable program with a focus on e-commerce.
- Availability as soon as possible for at least 1 year, with the prospect of an extension, for 16h to 18h per week.
- High willingness to learn and the ability to acquire new knowledge independently.
- Interest in designing the onsite customer journey and a good understanding of how ranges, categories and content can be structured so that customers can navigate intuitively and find relevant products.
- Teamwork, communication, assertiveness and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex processes.
- Confident use of standard Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Openness to working more with AI tools and using them in your work.
- Language level: German C2 (proficient language use) and English B2 (independent language use).
Preferred
- Initial experience with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Initial knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Experience analyzing and preparing data.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, online shops or digital product management.
- Initial exposure to user research, A/B tests or data-driven optimization.
