Working Student – Procurement and Purchasing (m/f/d)

What you will help shape: The Procurement and Logistics department is responsible for the needs-based supply of all required goods and services and for purchasing construction services. It also independently maintains essential plant components through two central storage units. The department sees itself as a service provider, strategic adviser, and reliable partner within the HAMBURG WASSER Group.

Your responsibilities:

• Obtain and compare offers, prepare price comparison tables, and commission suppliers and service providers for individual procurements
• Support the analysis and evaluation of procurement and ordering processes based on the merchandise management system
• Conduct market and supplier research to identify suitable procurement sources
• Build, maintain, and continuously develop a central knowledge database
• Actively participate in and support cross-departmental projects and the optimisation of internal processes

Your qualifications:

• Enrolled in a business-related degree programme, such as business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or a similar subject
• Basic commercial and business-management understanding
• Affinity for numbers and an analytical way of thinking
• Independent and structured working style, combined with high self-motivation and a strong willingness to learn
• Confident use of MS Office
• Good communication skills in different conversational situations
