We make a difference: The Procurement and Logistics department is responsible for the needs-based provision of all required supplies and services, as well as the procurement of construction services. It also independently maintains stocks of particularly important plant components in two central storage units. We see ourselves as a service provider, strategic adviser, and reliable partner within the HAMBURG WASSER Group.
What you'll do with us:
- Obtaining and comparing quotes, preparing price comparison tables, and commissioning suppliers and service providers as part of individual procurements
- Supporting the analysis and evaluation of procurement and ordering processes based on the inventory management system
- Conducting market and supplier research to identify suitable procurement sources
- Building, maintaining, and continuously developing a central knowledge database
- Actively contributing to and supporting cross-functional projects and the optimization of internal processes
What you bring:
- Enrolled in a business or economics degree program (e.g., business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or similar)
- Basic understanding of commercial and business administration principles
- Numerical aptitude and an analytical mindset
- Independent and structured way of working, combined with a high level of self-motivation and a strong willingness to learn
- Confident use of MS Office
- Good communication skills in a variety of conversational situations
