We are changing things: The Procurement and Logistics department is responsible for the needs-based provision of all required goods and services, as well as the procurement of construction services. We also independently manage stocks of particularly important system components through two central storage units. We see ourselves as a service provider, strategic advisor, and reliable partner within the HAMBURG WASSER Group.
What you'll do with us:
- Obtaining and comparing quotations, preparing price comparison tables, and placing orders with suppliers and service providers as part of individual procurement
- Supporting the analysis and evaluation of procurement and ordering processes based on the merchandise management system
- Conducting market and supplier research to identify suitable sources of supply
- Building, maintaining, and continuously developing a central knowledge database
- Active participation in and support for cross-functional projects, as well as the optimization of internal processes
What you bring:
- Enrolled in a degree program in business or economics (e.g. business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or a similar field)
- Basic understanding of commercial and business administration principles
- Affinity for numbers and an analytical mindset
- Independent and structured working style, combined with high self-motivation and a strong willingness to learn
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good communication skills in a range of conversational situations
