Corporate Communications: The team works to shape the positive internal and external perception of HAMBURG WASSER. It is editorially responsible for external corporate communications across the website, social media channels, digital and print publications, and campaigns. Its work includes press and media relations with regional and national media, organizing press conferences, and specialist communications on water and wastewater topics. The team also maintains dialogue with political decision-makers and representatives from public administration, associations, and other relevant stakeholder groups.

Your responsibilities:

  • Writing editorial contributions for the intranet and maintaining the media archive
  • Supporting the handling of construction-site communications
  • Posting press releases and press materials on the HAMBURG WASSER website
  • Supporting the organization and implementation of press appointments
  • Supporting the editorial work for various internal and external media
  • Supporting daily topic and media monitoring

What you bring:

  • Enrollment in a communications-related degree, for example media studies, marketing and communication, public relations, digital media, or a comparable field
  • Alternatively, a degree in journalism and publishing studies, German studies, or a related discipline, combined with an interest in communications tasks
  • Interest in corporate communications and in water, environmental, and sustainability topics
  • An independent and structured way of working and strong communication skills
  • Confident use of digital applications and an interest in editorial and web-based communication formats
